Bookworm Has A New Address In Town And It's Bigger & Better

    What Makes It Awesome

Stocking used, new and even rare copies, Bookworm is the book paradise you’ve always dreamed of. This book paradise now has a new address and the best part is it's still on Church Street. Just a few blocks down from the previous location, Bookworm is located inside the BPL compound (you know, the building next to Indian Coffee House and Brik Oven) and it's big, guys.

The first section of the store packs all your new books from different genres -- you'll find your classics along with graphic novels, history and self-help books rubbing the spines together. There are also autobiographies and memoirs too as much as there are fiction books. You'll find works of Shakespeare, John Grisham, George R. R. Martin, and the likes here. Once you move in, you'll step into the old Bookworm you remember.

You are greeted by the distinct smell of books jostling for space on the shelves. While you begin your diligent search from one shelf or piles from the floor to almost the ceiling. Classic works of literature, popular fiction and comics find a major place in their collection, as do books on spirituality, science and philosophy. One of the few places that sell elusive second-hand coffee table books, you best stock up on those too. There's the first floor too. Don't miss that out. We almost did. It's got educational and guide books. The floor also has a big enough space room dedicated to children's and young adults literature.

You can spend hours here just like we did and we ended up picking our fair share of books that included John Grisham's Sooley, Tales from 1001 Nights, Mark Manson's best seller (you know which), and a collection of novels by Jules Verne. We also went back and got ourselves Yuval Noah Harari's graphic novel Sapiens.

    Pro-Tip

You can park your car inside the compound as there's ample parking. Bookworm will also be opening a cafe soon, so once you are done with your book shopping, you can pop by the outdoor cafe and have a cuppa or two.
