Run, Walk Or Scramble For The Longevity of Bangalore At The Nandi Hillathon

What Is It?

An endurance run that stretches 21kms, a stress-free 6km Heritage Walk or a family fun zone, there is something for everyone at The Nandi Hillathon, happening this weekend. And, all of this at the foothills of Nandi Hills and for a good cause. Organised by United Way Bengaluru, a non-profit organisation that works towards a better and more sustainable Bangalore, they team up with Milaap {an online crowd-funding platform} on this. And how they work is by diving the city in localities, then, they tackle individual problems of neighbourhood instead of generic {perhaps unnecessary} help.

Who Is It For?

For anybody who has had enough of the pollution and the chaos in the city that we love. Take a break from the concrete jungle and take action against the deterioration of your city at The Nandi Hillathon. Of course, if you're into running, this is a great challenge. It's not as easy at it seems, folks!

Why Should I Go For It?

Apart from the run/walk/waddle, there's a Discovery Village {for some fun for both the grown ups and the kids}. Think hopscotch, lagori and goli-marbles among others. And the best part? All the money raised will go back to making this a better society. Plus, 10 per cent to bringing back the glory {read clean and non-polluted} days of Nandi Hills itself. Time to give back to Bangalore, don't you think?
