Soon-to-be-launched, The Rolling Scones is a home bakery, in Whitefield, that looks to pamper your sweet tooth with dessert recipes from around the globe.

What Makes It Awesome

Siddharth Parmar’s love for travel and rock has resulted in what his wife and partner, Shruti Dwivedi, likes to call his “love child” - The Rolling Scones. Based out of Whitefield, The Rolling Scones will open for business in the first week of December. And the home baker is looking to treat the neighbourhood to dessert recipes he has collected and honed from the world over. So, instead of the regular, done-to-death, cupcakes and cake pops, you can get a taste of the world - presented on a dessert plate.

Their signatures include a rustic Baklava and also a Babka that comes with a layer of dark chocolate and oodles of rum syrup. You can also tuck into a Sticky Toffee Pudding and Pistachio Cannolis (these are stuffed with creamy ricotta along with the pistachio paste). Fresh pavlovas, knafehs and creme brulees too are part of the lineup. The bakery will work on an order-to-order basis. And you will be able to place your order through their pages on Facebook, Instagram, and also on their website. They will need at least a day's notice to work on your order.

What Could Be Better

For now, The Rolling Scones will only be taking up orders from Whitefield and its surrounding areas. The rest of Bangalore will have to wait!

Pro-Tip

The Rolling Scones is planning to make appearances at flea markets soon, follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with their pop ups!

Navya considers herself to be the Cassandra of the 21st century – no one ever listens to the wisdom that she so willingly imparts. This is the only Greek tragedy element in her otherwise happy life. She’s got her Husband Charming, has perfected the art of sarcasm, is always fed copious amounts of good food, and is well on her way to self-actualization.
