The moment you walk in you’re greeted with beautiful colours from the porcelain pots most of their plants sit in. Ask her how many varieties does this nursery really have and Paul would just say - she doesn’t really have a count. And we can’t really blame her because there are indeed too many of them.
We particularly loved their Desert Rose plants that start from INR 500 and don’t require much maintenance. Nearly four to five years old, these are also available in a variety of colours. If you’re looking for potted flower plants, be sure to check out their hibiscus plants that are available in full-bloom currently and also in rare colours. But if you’re looking for something truly unique, check out their Euphorbia varieties, that are fully-grown, require very little maintenance and start from INR 100.
Avelon Plant Nursery also has many indoor plants. They particularly specialize in miniature planting and gardening and have more than 50 different pots on display. Starting from INR 100, these can make for a great table or window accents and also come potted in quirky artifacts.
Their Mirabilis jalapa plant varieties, popularly known as anji mani poo or Chandrakanta are also something to watch out for. Starting from just INR 40, these are available in beautiful crimson and dual tones.
