In a restaurant far, far away {if you live in T Nagar}, to celebrate the universal fandom of the legacy that is Star Wars and obviously, the latest film The Last Jedi { no spoilers, please!}, Sitcom has come up with a menu dedicated to Chennai’s Star Wars fans.
What’s on the menu? The adorable-sounding Yoda Soda which is a drink made from crushed ice and vanilla ice-cream, and like the legendary Master Yoda it’s green too {from the green apple syrup}. There’s also Ben Kenobi flavoured with blue curacao syrup. They use the colour blue here to emulate Kenobi’s nobility.
But if you’re someone who roots for the antagonists and are looking for something darker try the Darth Sidious Monster Shake which consists of white chocolate {the light force} and goth ice cream {the dark force} blended together – just like Darth Vader’s complex character!
There’s also the Death Star Pizza {just as dark as the space station} with veggie and chicken toppings, Darth Noodles, black stir-fried garlic noodles with mushroom and chicken and Darth Burger with paneer, chicken or beef patties. This special menu has been put together by Mad Chef Koushik Shankar who brought Chennai its first goth ice-cream using activated charcoal.
