The oldest and arguably the biggest cycling organisation in the city, Tamilnadu Cycling Club has a 11,500-member Facebook group. Their cycling events are frequent and happen across the city. One of the advantages of joining such a group in addition to the riding company and sound cycling advice, is that you get to ride with the city’s veterans, which means you’ll get to know the best routes, which ones to avoid, where to get your bike fixed, and tons of other Chennai specific cycling info.
