Staying at home got you craving for cakes? Guess what? You can whip up one just for you with little effort with this easy mug cake recipe. It's basic, almost healthy, eggless and takes very little time ( 7 minutes max). You definitely don't need to be a hotshot baker for this one.
Baking Time: 5 mins prep, 2 minutes baking time (7 minutes in all)
What You Need:
3 tbsp wheat flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/4 cup dates syrup (you can use honey too)
2 tbsp milk (you can add more if it's too thick)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Take a mug and add all the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, soda and salt).
Mix them all up with a fork.
One by one, add the wet ingredients (date syrup, milk, essence and oil).
Whisk them all together till there are no lumps. Add a few drops of milk if the batter is too thick.
Microwave for about a minute and 10 seconds. Run a toothpick through the cake. If it doesn't come out clean, microwave it for another 20 to 30 seconds.
