5 Workshops to Attend this February

Sitting at home and relaxing is fun after a tough week of work, but if you do it too long you can find yourself stagnating. Dust off those cobwebs; go out and run, rekindle your passion for an old hobby, or do something new and attend one of these five workshops.

Intro to Urban Farming

Learn the basics of how to design, plan and run a kitchen garden. A good workshop for first-time farmers, you will get a crash course in things like seeding, weeding, harvesting, pest management and composting. At the end of the session, you will learn to identify seeds and transplant a sapling {which you then take home!}.

Acroyoga

Colours of Threshold

BDSM by The Kinky Collective

This is not an open event, you have to register in advance, there are limited seats and it is up to the Collective to finally give you the green light. If you get to participate, then you will be involved in discussions on BDSM and consent, what BDSM means to some in the community, demos of flogging, basic rope work and wax play.

Pickle and Chutney Making

The SeekSherpa team bring us another enjoyable little workshop this month. The workshop will teach you how to make 10 different pickles and chutneys {with tasting sessions of course!}. Recreate traditional recipes from around the country, and take home delicious items like garlic chutney, stuffed chilly pickle, tamarind and date chutney, eggplant chutney, ginger lemon pickle, and carrot pickle! Our stomachs are already churning in anticipation.
