India’s telephonic code being +91, the restaurant took inspiration from it - they decided to have a variety of dishes from all over India. If you have a look at its menu, you will find a code along with +91, which is the state number! I would rather say they have the best kebabs I ever. The ambience is quite photogenic. The staff was super nice. Food was amazing. Starting with the cocktails to desserts, everything was fantastic.
Martini In Benaras and Jambhul Karvand martini were just too good as was the Pannarita. Avakai mojito was something I would recommend you to try. It's a cocktail made from Andhra pickle along with the kick of vodka in it. We had +91 11 - Edamame and Ratalu tokri chaat. And +91 22 - Indian Pizzette. The Indian pizzette was on a huge tortilla chip topped up with onion, tomato, mashed potatoes, chutney and aloo bhujiya, garnished with beetroot mayo. Ratalu Tokri chaat was my favourite though. The tokri had potato pieces along with sweet potatoes, curd, pomegranate, chutneys. The tokri chaat was an amazing start to my lunch.
As I said, they serve amazing kebabs. I had a non-veg friend along with me and she said Patra ni Macchi was the best appetizer she ever had. Coming to the veg part, beetroot tikki was amazing, beetroot along with cottage cheese, the kebab made out from this deadly combination was amazing. Saffron and Suran galouti was too good. Portobello mushroom galouti was the best appetizer there. Tulsi lifafa panner was food, simply the tulsi panner tikka was wrapped in leaf in a lifafa pattern, so the name tulsi lifafa panner.
Rosemary and olive naan are a must try, it's too good. All the main course were amazing, especially the zucchini musallam, paneer bhurji stuffed zucchini with curry, amazing combination. In fact, the gravy of chicken xacuti and Rajasthani laal maas was good. Mattha is a sweet version of buttermilk which was good though.
All the desserts were lip-smacking, especially the hazelnut chocolate praline served along with berry ice cream. The gajar halwa modak is a gajar halwa mousse in a modak form with no added artificial colour or essence to bring out the taste, simply they use the authentic gajar halwa itself, and make the mousse out of it. Overall I had the best lunch there. I would surely hit the place again.
