It is that time of the year again, folks! The Man Booker Prize for Fiction will be announced on 17th October and we at Delhi BYOB, will be meeting a couple of days before to discuss the nominees.
The shorlist this year is:
4 3 2 1 by Paul Auster
History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund
Exit West by Mohsin Hamid
Elmet by Fiona Mozley
Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders
Autumn by Ali Smith
If you have read none of these books, you are still welcome to attend; however we ask that you bring a book that has been nominated (longlist included) in ANY previous year.
To register, send a photograph of the book you are bringing to delhincr@bringyourownbook.org along with your name and phone number.
Since this is being hosted at a private residence, the location of the event will be mailed to only those who register.
As usual, punctuality and snacks will be appreciated. Latecomers will be less appreciated and will have to tell a joke to the (usually unamused) punctual crowd.
