LORE—A tribal story, a mixed media art exhibition and sale, organized by Native Strokes in collaboration with The Far Valley Productions and in association with Rosang Café and Store. The exhibition showcases artwork by Richard Khuptong, Mang Tonsing and photographic reportage by Vivek Singh. The artwork of Richard Khuptong showcase modern and traditional abstract calligraphy through canvas, brushes and papers. His style is inclined more towards the graphiti/calligraphiti. Mang Tonsing's works depict the current scenario of the tribal society through traditional art with graphite, pen and paper, addressing controversial issues like modernization, guns, and society. Since 2006, Vivek Singh has been documenting the country’s remote north-east, a frontier region. In this exhibition he showcases both his recent works from the hills of Manipur and the low lying plains of western Assam.

Her ideal day begins with a glass of good cold coffee and a frizz controller that can tackle her mane concerns. Words are her weapons of destruction {or she makes cookies that are sometimes hard enough to shatter glass windows}. She loves beaches, wine and all the good things life has to offer – movies, polka dots and brownies included.
