What Makes It Awesome

If you've been looking to spend some peaceful time away from Delhi, then we have a suggestion for you. Located in Jaipur is Srinivas, the private residence of Maharaj Karanvijay Singh Ji of Jodhpur, which has now been converted into a resort that promises comfort and luxury. As you enter this property that consists of seven suites, you will notice Rajasthani architecture, serene views of Aravali range, antique furniture, and a lot more that you would want to take back home in the form of memories.

As you plan your stay here, this residence will give you a glimpse into the lives of royal families (the property is adorned with the photographs of the royal family, winning trophies from polo matches, and more). You can choose to stay at either of their royal suits or at their classic suits. They have two rooms under royal suites namely, Maharaj Sahib room and Rani Sahib room while the classic rooms are called Kanwarani Sahib room, Rajkumar Sahib room, Bhanwar Sahib room, Tikka Sahib, and Mehmaan room.

The Rani Sahib suite is one of the spacious rooms at the residence and features antique furniture (a the dressing table, a 100-year-old bathtub) which has been bought from the Jodhpur Palace. While from their Classic Suites, the Mehmaan rooms (which were originally used by the mehmaans of the royal family) could be the best option for you to stay at.

As far as the food is concerned, don't you worry, they'll make sure to pamper you with the best of cuisines. FYI, we had the yummiest of Penne Arrabbiata, grilled chicken, Rajasthani main course, and of course, desserts. Also, the best part is that the vegetables are sourced fresh from their own garden area (woohoo!).

Hey, don't forget to start your mornings with a yoga session at Ghoomti (terrace area). Just let them know in advance and they'll organise it for you.

The price of the Classic Suite starts at INR 21,000 and the Royal Suite starts at INR 27,000, per night. The tariffs include the cost of welcome drinks, breakfast, a sundowner hour with the host, shoe-cleaning services, daily ironing, and interaction with the polo ponies. The Royal Suite also includes pick and drop from the airport/railway station and butler service.

What Could Be Better

The property is located quite far away from the railway station (20kms) and the airport (28kms). But, we guess that it's okay if you are looking for some peace.

Pro-Tip

If you wish to explore Jaipur, the manager at the property would be more than happy to curate an itinerary for you.
