V Resorts Monolith, just 300 km away in the little town of Bhimtal, is an absolutely gorgeous property. The rooms are cosy, and have a typical mountain-like structure and feel to them. We opted for an independent cottage, which has a separate terrace as well so you can chill and enjoy some evening tea with some fresh air. Though the people are really nice, the in-house services let us down a bit.
