Swimming Pool And A Friendly German Shepherd: Oakwood Hamlet Is A Good Getaway

The Oakwood Hamlet is just 40 minutes away from Shimla. It is a perfect three or four day trip. The resort is situated deep in the jungles with a mesmerising environment.

The food and service of the workers is great. If you go during off-season you might not find many people staying here, which is good because you are then treated as kings and queens!

The place also has a swimming pool overlooking the valley. And for pet lovers it is best because they have their own German shepherd.

It's 3 km away from the main highway so preferable to drive through it.

Do take woollen clothes as even during end April it was about 15°C. You might require socks, jacket, shawl and cap {if you generally feel cold}.
