What Makes It Awesome

AKUs The Brrgrr Co. is an outlet (in Def Col & Kalkaji) doing juicy, succulent veg and non-veg burgers and shakes. They’ve got a menu full of lamb, bacon, and mushroom burgers that’ll put you in a food coma. Good thing- they're delivering!

If this quarantine has got you hungry for some deliciousness, hit up AKU'S! They're following strict hygiene standards, as per WHO's guidelines, so go ahead and order. However, they're only delivering limited items from their menu, which you can check out on Zomato or Swiggy.

A cute, yellow outlet in the Defence Colony market, AKUs The Brrgrr Co. has got us crushing on their meaty burgers. Their whole vision is to do quick, delicious burgers made with the highest quality ingredients (think Shake Shack) and after trying it out, we have to say they’re nailing it.

We were initially spoilt for choice when we looked at the menu, but we were recommended The Meister (a lamb, bacon, and fried egg burger) and the first bite proved that we were in for a treat—we had it with Sriracha instead of ketchup to spice things up. We paired that with their Classic Belgian Chocolate shake (they make their ice creams for the shakes in-house) and safe to say, we’ll be going back for seconds and thirds.

Their menu also has fries, poutine, desserts, and beverages that we’re yet to try out. They’re also going to incorporate a takeaway section at the outlet soon.

AKUs was started by Chef Akriti Malhotra and her brother, Ankit. She trained at the CIA (no, she’s not a spy, that’s the Culinary Institute of America) for two-and-a-half years, and then worked under Chef Ritu Dalmia of the famous restaurant chain, Diva. All of this to say, you can trust her to feed you some amazing food!
