The peeps behind Summer House Cafe and Bandstand are all set to take over more of Aurobindo Market with their third cafe; say hello to Auro Kitchen & Bar, which is going to be all about delish fusion food, cocktails and live Hindi music.

We Can't Contain{er} Our Excitement

We’re happy to report that these guys have outdone themselves with Auro. The terrace is massive and mostly done up in mellow grey and yellow. The highlight is the large bar situated at one end, which is actually a shipping container with lots of woodwork and brass lighting inside. In short, it’s gorgeous.

Add to this their regular live music {they’re deviating from the Bandstand and Summer House usuals and keeping it Hindi here} and you have yourself the perfect evening.

What's On The Menu?

They’re promising fusion fare without any gimmicks and have managed to put together a regional Indian menu with infusions from various International cuisines {think Indian tacos}. Highlights from the menu include the Vegetarian Malabari Stew, Seafood and Pork Paella, chorizo stew with poi bread, Sindhi-style kadhi chawal with fried okra, and the one dish we’re dying to try the most; Bengali Raan {goat leg}.

They’ve stuck to the classics when it comes to drinks, but you’ll find a few spicy India-inspired cocktails in there.

When: Sep 15
