At Greek Food & Beyond, we suggest you start with the mezze – for us, it included salad as well and we can’t say enough good things about the Fatoush and The Greek {tomato, cucumber, peppers, feta in lemon and olive oil – this is what summer ought to taste like} salads. They have a richer, baked feta variant too, but we suggest you save space for their massive mezze menu.

The must-haves include usual suspects like Keftedes Ami or Greek lamb meatballs, Spanakopita or spinach and feta wrapped in filo pastry. The true hidden gems, however, have got to be the Lamb Hummus Bowl and the Fried Feta with honey and sesame.

Mains Are The Real Game

From pita wraps and gyros to a killer sun-dried tomato risotto, the menu is huge but the real game changer is the main course platters section. The Lamb Tagine is a lamb and saffron stew with meat that falls off the bone, the moussaka is perfection and the Chicken Souvlaki is just how sheesh kebabs ought to be.

For something more Greek and less mainstream, we suggest you try the Pasari Plaki or tomato baked fish and the Briam which is a Greek-style ratatouille served on a bed of potatoes. Finish with the Pistachio Baklava, the only Greek dessert they have but it’s as close to the real thing in Delhi NCR.
