Bageeya Eco-Dyeing Workshop Cum Exhibition

What's Happening

Bageeya is this awesome brand which has totally impressed us with their collection, glazed with natural dyes from roses & marigold to harad, katha & madder roots, all of which, are believed to possess healing properties. The designs and textures on each garment are formed from actual leaves and flowers. From bandannas provided by Bageeya to dyeing your own fabrics (that you can get along), get the chance to eco-dye in vibrant hues & shades at the workshop.

They will also be putting up a couple of interesting finds on display from eco-dyed saris and chunaris, zero waste accessories to handwoven chanderi, silks, organic cotton and reversible kimonos. What we’re looking forward to the most are the detachable saris (pallu can be detached to style as dupatta) and fan sari made from Silk chanderi (perfect for the festive season)!

Men, don't feel left out already. They have some interesting options for you too, including kurtas and eco-dyed nehru jackets.

How's The Venue

The workshop-cum-exhibition is open to all, has amazing discounts and will be held at Silver Oak Farms, Ghitorni. So, we suggest that you board the metro and get down at Ghitorni Metro Station on Yellow Line for a hassle-free visit! From the metro station, it’s hardly a 7 minutes auto-ride (since the venue is no more than 2.5 Km away).

Pro-Tip

Register ASAP as those who register will not only get to take home the bandanna they design, but will also get an exclusive discount for the products displayed at the exhibition!

You will have to pay INR 2000 (all-inclusive) on the spot at the event, so make sure that you carry some extra cash. Also, get a fabric or two along as the more you dye, the more eco-dyed fabrics you get to take home!
