Fatty Bao is holding a two-week long Bao Wow festival this month, for you to enjoy as many awesome, fluffy baos—with a huge variety of different fillings—as you can.
Who is it for?Anybody who loves food, really. We tried the Roast Duck bao {clearly a winner}, Pulled Pork bao, Five Spiced Chicken bao, Cottage Cheese bao, Chickpea bao and the Chilli Crab and Prawn bao {unfortunately, this tasted more like lemongrass and less like crab, but was good nonetheless}. We think this would make the perfect date night {book a spot for V-Day now?}, especially when paired with their cocktails.
We drank the Mickey Ninja {this was just right} and the Wasabi Drop {we would have liked a little more sweetness here, but then again, it has wasabi in it} and we recommend you try them both, too!
Why should I go for it?Well, there's live music {on Wednesdays}, great cocktails, yummy desserts and food shaped like clouds. What else could you ask for?
#LBBTipThe salted caramel ice cream here is one of the saltiest and yummiest we've had in a while. Also, try their special dessert, The Egg, which comes beautifully plated.
