Binjin Bakes in Green Park is wooing us with moist cupcakes and cakes with dollops of frosting and ganache in a bunch of bizarre flavours.

Binjin Bakes has the usual suspects like Single Barrel Dark Chocolate, an espresso sponge and cinnamon pound cake and we hear these are super. However, if you like adventures, you might want to try the flavourful Open Sesame {a moist banana cake filled and topped with toasted sesame frosting – this is perfect if you don’t like it too sweet} or the Mishti Doi Cupcake. The latter is a coconut cupcake with creamy mishti doi frosting. From what we’ve seen, the baker isn’t too heavy on cake art so expect basic, pretty presentation.

Other flavours include the Oozing orange cupcake with chocolate, Caramel with butterscotch, dark chocolate fudge with wine ganache and even a Hot Toddy cake – we’re definitely ordering this once winter sets in.

So, We're Saying...

You’re not going to fall for all the flavours {we personally didn’t love the lemon frosting} but there’s no better way to find out than to order the assorted cupcake box, especially if you’re testing waters for a big birthday cake for bae. The generous amount of frosting is bound to keep you happy.
