Biryani Guys doesn’t have the biggest menu, but their claim “we only cook a few things but we cook ’em damn good” rings pretty true.
Out of their nine varieties of biryani {including Chicken Achaari, Egg Biryani and Chicken Tikka}, the Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani with the meal falling off the bones was easily our favourite. The Chettinad Chicken and Lucknowi Chicken were well spiced, but the chicken was a little tough. What we loved about all of them was that they come in clay handis, and the mouth is sealed with a generous amount of atta. No need to get all that crockery out!
What Else?
They also do rice platters in variants like lamb, beef, chicken and falafel. We tried the beef shawarma, and whereas the meat was on point, the accompanying sauce was a bit too tangy for our taste.
In terms of dessert, there’s only gulab jamun and phirni, but what else do you need post a delish plate of biryani, really?

Biryani Guys is a great option for when your tummy rumbles late at night {they deliver till 4 in the morning!} and for when unexpected guests arrive when your larder only houses instant noodles.
