Since Majnu Ka Tila is known for its amazing Tibetan food and cheap fashion, this store comes by as a surprise. This place is a relatively unknown settlement, located opposite to the market most popularly known as Punjab Busty. If you have a thing for custom-made dresses, you will find the place to be a paradise for brocade designs and quality available at great prices.

To top this you will also find expert tailors at corners who make authentic Tibetan dresses. They also have an amazing collection of suit (formal) fabrics.

The store is located in a market with a lot of dirt and cow dung on the passage. The way to the store could be a little cleaner.

You should get in touch with one of the oldest tailors there, Mahesh Pal {Modern tailors}. My second favourite tailor for custom-made outfits is Shankar. If you are short of time and need a quick-fix, then you will find ready-made dresses {Chupas} at the fabric stores itself. The ready-made dresses will cost you around INR 5000.

You can try your hand at bargaining but it doesn't really work as they claim to have the most reasonable rates. The owners of the many stores there might direct you to the amateur tailors but consider reaching out to Mahesh or Shankar for neat and professional work.

Most fabric stores already know the amount of fabric you need for a particular style of dress but it is always a good idea to consult your tailor. Also, provide your tailor with reference images if you can and then buy the fabric according to their expert suggestion.
