A Round Of Golf, Flatbread Pizza & Sizzling Brownie: Plan A Sunday At Caddyshack

Tucked away deep inside Gurgaon is the small but beautiful Hamoni Golf Course and its newest addition, Caddyshack: Cafe By The Greens is calling out to us with its club-inspired menu, pebbled outdoor seating and hipster red-bricked interiors.

Caddyshack is popular amongst the golfing crowd of course but if you live around the area, we say, drop by for a quick lunch. The cafe is done up in red bricks, has golf-y accessories hanging on the walls and of course, overlooks the greens. We love that there’s so much natural light just streaming in.

The outdoor area is pretty – the pebbles and wooden high chairs are lovely. But we’d bookmark this for a winter date. The music is soft yet peppy, leaving plenty of room for conversation.

The menu is what you’d expect from a typical golf club, but better. We started with the Sev Batata, Mushroom Galouti Kebab {vegetarians – order this sans any hesitation}, Minced Mutton Flatbread Pizza {our favourite} and a very long Prawn Cocktail Bruschetta.

For mains, there’s a creamy cauliflower mac n cheese, Sole fish served on a bed of greens with baby potatoes spiced with rosemary and a killer curry with coconut fragranced rice. Definitely a level beyond your regular club food.

Caddyshack is the perfect Sunday brunch place. Head here with the fam or maybe on a golfing date.

The cafe is currently open only till 7pm so don’t make dinner plans here just yet.
