A Bite of Calcutta’s Best Bakes - Flury’s is in Delhi

The information in this post might be outdated

When you walk down Calcutta’s Park Street on a Saturday morning, Flury’s is easy to spot. On the corner of the crosscutting Freeschool street, the restaurant has an unmistakable bustle inside, because of its delectable breakfast fare. And there is no one more excited than us that this piece of Calcutta’s gastronomic history is in Delhi, and has been as long as Park Hotel has!

Flury’s at The Park is a bakery counter that’s a treat both for the eyes, and for the senses. It’s also really easy on the pocket, with confections starting at a mere 160 rupees. They have a wide variety of bakery items, the stand outs being the Red Velvet and the Tiramisu. We also give their Rum Ball and Truffle a thumbs up. The sponges are super soft, and the taste isn’t an overpowering sweet, a great reason to appreciate their expertise in balancing flavours.

Though they don’t do any Calcuttan breakfast or main course items in the Delhi store as yet, they do have a collection of assorted chocolates. You can even order cakes for parties and birthdays {at INR 1456 per kg}. All this apart, this bakery offers 50% off on all bakery items post 8pm! Just one of many many reasons to head over to this sweet spot.
