While we love our fancy 5 course meals complete with amuse bouches, dessert and the perfect bottle of bubbly to go with it all, we equally love the dhaba and café food Delhi has to offer. And more importantly, the price at which it all comes. Here are some of our fave places to visit when we’re high on hunger and low on money.

Rollmaal has worked out a step by step process to provide you with the perfect roll. You choose your paratha {from variants like flaky, Malabar, Ulta Tawa etc}, your maal {the main filling} and the size of the roll. Apart from this, they also have snacks like vada pav, chaat and a mean masala chai.

We Dilliwallas have a kind of obsession with Chinjabi food. Give us a plate of chili chicken and chowmein and we’re all set. Jughead’s is a fast food restaurant that not only does a great Indian Chinese menu, but also Indian. Try their spring rolls {if you’re open to oily yumminess}, chili mushroom and kadhai chicken. The most exciting item on their menu however, is the butter chicken pizza, hands down.
