What is It?

Connections is an annual performing arts festival that brings a host of spectacular performances from around the world. In its third edition this year, they’re bringing Concerto for Two Clowns, a contemporary circus, and Ljodahatt, a Nordic Poetic Folk Rock Band to put together some amazing acts for you.

Who is It for?

If you enjoy any kind of performing acts, Connections Festival is a great place to discover some really talented artists from across the world and within the country as well. This four-day festival is a great way for you to enjoy some really kickass performances that are bound to thrill.

Why Should I Go for It?

connections2To start off with, The Concerto for Two Clowns will be presented by Julia Caprez and Igor Sellem, who are acrobats, musicians, mime artists, and clowns, all rolled into two. To the rhythms of Vivaldi, Strauss, and Bach, this duo will put together a musically demanding performance, which should be top notch.

And then there's Ljodahatt, the Nordic Poetic Folk Band set up by Magne Håvard Brekke, who put together the band after 25 years of wandering through Europe and handpicking some of the best musicians {from Norway, France, England, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria} he found on his journey. The band will be joined by Hindustani classical musicians at the festival to create something truly unique. You can catch a glimpse of them here.

Anything Else?

The Concerto for Two Clowns will be held at Shri Ram Centre on 25th and 26th March and at Epicentre on 27th March, while Ljodahatt will be performing at Epicentre on 28th March.
