What Makes Them Awesome

Curve by Shefali, started as a creative outlet because she wanted to bring to the table something new, raw, and artistic. At first glance it looks like we had switched to a Pinterest “pottery aesthetic” page. But as you scroll, read, and marvel you’ll notice a story, wrapped around the ever so minimal, aesthetic, albeit fragile looking products, all made from raw materials that are locally-sourced or homegrown.

While chatting with her (a one woman army), out of her base in Coimbatore, she gave us a glimpse in to herself as an artist, and her sensibilities into each and every piece she moulds. The products range from handmade vases, ceramic tableware, mugs, ashtrays, to even glazed incense burners! We loved the angular vases that are minimal, raw, and everything aesthetic. We also have our eye out for the pastel pink glazed plates, and hope that they’re more down the line.

What’s truly unique and fascinating about Curve is that no two products are the same, or replicated. As a brand, Curve makes 50 odd products every two months. Talk about unique! In fact, they have a new collection coming out soon. So keep an eye on it!

When it comes to prices, she doesn’t believe in putting a tag on her products before they are ready. So depending on the effort going into each piece, prices of even similar products may vary. But expect for spend INR 1,500 on most things.
