The newly-opened Bronies at the Defence Colony flyover market is a massive space done up in lots of wood, serving everything from curries and stone soups, to fries and pizza.

Lowdown on the Ambience
The gastro-pub has three seating areas– lush green outdoors perfect for a romantic date, a ground floor dedicated to a sprawling bar and a hanging projector, and the first floor where you are welcomed by bright red comfy sofas and jute cushions.
The bar at Bronies is neatly stacked with alcohol and dotted with number plates showing the owner’s love for cars. They also have a wood-fired oven.
Brinjal Your Friends Here
Nostalgia grips once you take a glance at their old-school menu. Bronies is aiming to bring back the taste of the old, rather than taking the fusion route.
The digging session started with Burnt Tomato and Tortilla Soup which was served with a stone inside to keep it warm. Pair this with Chilli Cheese Croquettes and Brinjal Fries {we were apprehensive about these but the tender fries won us over}.
Rice and Shine
Their Desi Chakhna is worth a try- a mixture of moong dal sprouts, green chillies, onions, coriander, and masala peanuts drizzled with lemon juice.
We opted for the Thai Red Curry for the main. The curry was packed with flavour and spiced well. We paired the meal with their signature Cocktail Peach Buzz. The creamy cocktail was a refreshing mix of vodka, peach schnapps, peach juice and full cream.
For dessert, we had the Baked Alaska- cake covered with ice cream and topped with meringue. A great way to close.
PS: They do an unlimited buffet brunch every Sunday from 12pm – 4pm for INR 1,299 plus taxes per person.
Timings: 11am – 1am
