Jack Daniel’s Global Barrel Hunt Is Here, And You're All Invited!

The information in this post might be outdated

What Is It?

Jack Daniel’s distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the US, is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a global barrel hunt. 150 prize-filled barrels have been hidden in cities around the world.

These barrels are hidden in spots that have changed a lot in the last century and a half, and one of these barrels will be hidden at a secret location in Delhi, too. When the barrel reaches its location, it will leave behind a trail for you to track, and the clues on the Jack Daniel’s Facebook page will be your key to unlock the trail.

Crack the clues, remember the password, trace the hidden barrels, and you get to claim them!

Who Is It For?

The barrel hunt is open for anyone who is a citizen of India and above 25 years of age. All potential winners will be required to provide a proof of eligibility in the form of a valid, state-issued photo ID.

Why Should I Go for It?

First, it isn’t every day that we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Jack Daniel’s, and second, we all love treasure hunts, don’t we? Especially when the lucky barrel hunter gets featured along 149 other winners on their global website. And if that isn’t reason enough, you'd probably love what you're about to find inside the barrel. Well, not Jack Daniel’s, but some prizes that are almost as good, including the barrel itself, a custom handcrafted oakwood bar kit created especially for the Hunt, invites to Jack Daniel’s events, and much more.

So Delhi, are you ready for the barrel hunt?

When: 3rd September, 2016

Where: Somewhere Delhi

Time: Begins at 10am
