Apple & Ham Sandwich, The Moist Chocolate Cake

Winning For

Chef Avantika Nischol is the master magician here! She not only creates desserts, sandwiches and more but also does them in a way no one else does—that too at super affordable prices.

Gorge And Look Gorgeous

How does that work? Well, Ekatrit is a styling cafe which brings you a mix of accessories, clothing, personal care products and more; and attached to it is this patisserie. So while you much on some great sandwiches or just gobble up their amazing desserts, you can also have a stylist curate the best things you can add to your wardrobe.

The patisserie has been set up in a small area, but it is just the cutest set-up, with comfortable seating and a quirky appeal. As a bonus, everything there is on sale {yes, everything!}. You like a chair, take it, or maybe pick up the serving platter on the way out.

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This

First of, the sourdough bread here is just amazing! It takes a week to make and you know why the moment you take the first bite. The apple and ham sandwich, and the grilled cheese sandwich are our favourites here—we definitely recommend these.

The desserts, though, completely steal the show. Not only are they beautiful, but are also super delicious.

Our favourites are the moist chocolate cake, amour, tira-ccino and the seasonal fruit tart. Each dessert not only promises great taste but each serving is below the INR 200 mark! {Which is great for us broke people + end of the month woes}.

So, We’re Thinking…

I think we have a new favourite in Defence Colony, and you might just spot us there when visiting. Make sure you try their amazing offerings soon and thank the humble and talented chef while you’re at it.
