Remember the good peeps who set up a secret campsite near Gurgaon, bedecked with lights and equipped with hammocks and a small library? They’re back with a similar gig. Only this time, they’ve conceptualised a tribal-themed camping experience in the hills.
This new version of ‘Escape’ is happening at a green campsite in Chakrata, Uttarakhand over four weekends starting from June 10. *Mad drumroll*
Freewheeling hippies. The morning happy. The late risers. The enthu cutlets, those who like yoga and those who’d choose charred meats instead… It’s for everyone who seeks novel experiences with the dedication of a stalker. No kidding.
The tribal aspect that the organisers have thrown it makes this offbeat party sound even better. Imagine indie music under the stars and yoga or photography workshops by the day. Also, two word: Dreamcatchers and tents.
This overnight camping vacay involves a picturesque drive through the hills before you reach the alpine tents where you’ll spend the night. The carnival-type feeling here with swinging ball lights is hard to miss and we like that there’s something for everyone. Dip your toes in a stream or feel like an ancient explorer as you walk through caves. Enjoy music under the stars or take off for a trek.
