What Makes It Awesome?

We recently visited TGKF to attend their Rangeelo Rajasthan event where they are serving delicacies of Rajasthan.

The ambience and interiors of this place are very welcoming. The interiors are decorated with torn out brick walls, colourful umbrellas hanging upside down, bandhani's flowing from the ceiling, an open kitchen and a bar counter decorated with colourful lamps. They have a courteous staff dressed in white kurta and vibrant turbans and are always on their toes to serve you.

We were greeted by their staff at the entrance who led us to our table. We were offered delicious bajra soup with cashew & butter bread to kick start our meal, followed by a salad with strawberry & mustard dressing.

We decided to relish the non-vegetarian delicacies from the vast menu they offered.
In starters, we tried
- Galaouti Kebab which simply melted in our mouth.
- Lal Mirch ka Jheenga: red chilli flavoured prawns which are hot & juicy.
- Jodhpuri Khasta Chooza: fried chicken which is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
- Papad mutton ki Shammi: This was something different, with a layering of papad and insides filled with minced mutton and cheese.
- Banjara Murg Tikka was tender and perfectly cooked
- And their Ajmeri Machhi Tikka was a delight.

In the main course we had the following:
- Rajasthani Punchkoti Dal and their famous Dal factory, both having balanced flavours.
- Paneer Hara Pyaza Masala was succulent
- Pithod ki subzi which is gatte ki subzi was very tender with the right amount of spices.
- Their Khuska biryani was flavourful and is a must try.
- Safed Murgh: this white curry chicken is a delight to taste buds.
- Banjara gosht tasted heavenly and is a must try.

They served a great variety of desserts.
- Starting with Alwar ka mawa which was mouth watering.
- Khoya Kachori with Ananri Rabri was drool-worthy.
- A special mention to Tamatar ka Halwa which was a recommendation by their chef. It looks like gajar ka halwa but don't let its looks deceive you as it is Tamatar ka halwa. It's not too sweet and brings a new edge to the Indian dessert section.
- Their Rajwari Rasbhari holds true to its name and is toothsome
- Jalebi with Rabri: Who can say no to this lethal combination
The meal ended with two sweet and sour paans.

Overall the experience was amazing and we enjoyed the warm hospitality at The Great Kebab Factory.

How Much Did It Cost?
