So many festivals, so little time. Well now that the porn ban came into affect, perhaps our schedule's cleared up a bit.
The Escape Festival, most popular for its location {Naukuchiataal}, is now moving base to The Desert Himalaya Resort, Nubra Vallery, Ladakh. Just when we thought music, art, and a whole lot of food couldn't get a better backdrop, they've upped the ante.
As for who to expect this year round, they've announced the artists, and the list includes Sonia Saigal, Amyt Datta, Harmeet Manseta, Vibhas Rahul {T2}, Manas Chowdhury, Black Strat Blues, Shawdow and Light, Tejas Menon, Dhruv Sangari, Valentine Shipley, Dilip Ramachandran, Tech Panda, Post Modern Pundit and Guy called Sid Sal. As we wait for them to add artists to this line-up, we're thinking the idea of a festival in Ladakh is already good enough.
