It's such a blessing to have Makhija Emporium in the neighbourhood as otherwise, I would have had to visit Laxmi Nagar every time I needed cloth material for tailoring. They have a huge variety of printed material ranging from what can be used for daily wear to fancy fabrics for that special party dress. From printed cotton to brocades and a stock of boutique items, this store has it all. Makhija, the owner, also has a range of sarees to offer, starting at INR 250 for a polyester saree, INR 500 for a cotton one, the range goes all the way up to INR 1,000 depending on the fabric and style. The price for printed material starts at INR 120 a meter for cotton cloth and goes upwards from there.

Starting at INR 140 for a polyester georgette dupatta, the range available is {good} crazy. He charges INR 350 for a plain suit and INR 850 for the one with full lining, INR 250 for a plain blouse and an extra INR 100 for the lining. He takes at least a week or more to finish the work. Although I have not got anything tailored from him yet, I hear the fitting is better than other tailors.
