First Ever Flower Carpet at Saraswati Pujo in Gurgaon

What is it?

A two-day Spring Festival is being organised by the DLF City Durga Puja & Bengali Cultural Society at the F-Block Community Centre. They are making Delhi’s first event giant flower carpet with 50 volunteers working with close to 25,000 fresh flowers.

This will be open for viewing from 10am - 6pm on February 12.

Who is it for?

Any who’d like to indulge in the festive atmosphere of Saraswati Pujo, along with literary talks and a giant flower carpet that will be the centre of attraction.

Why should I go for it?

pujaFebruary 13 will see the celebration of Saraswati Pujo at the same venue, 10am onwards. You can also listen to Sounak Chattopadhyay, a brilliant singer from Kolkata who will sing Tagore songs and Indian classical music 7pm onwards. Don't miss the Spring Festival, which promises to be an amalgamation of the arts, literature and music in Gurgaon.

Anything else?

On the evening of February 12, Bengali literature aficionados will have the pleasure of listening to a discussion by noted author and translator Arunava Sinha on Bengali Literature in Translation.
