I sea you

Considering we live in a place where good seafood is a luxury, Tribe sure seems to check all the right boxes. The menu is extensive, and boasts everything from duck to chicken and lamb and of course, the star of the show - seafood. We hear their Jasmine Tea Smoked Salmon is divine, as is the lobster. For the less adventurous {and non-seafood lovers} they do a good Beer Battered Fish Fingers and a Mushroom Stuffed Grilled Chicken. Veggie lovers should try the Roasted Ricotta Field Mushrooms.

The Herbed Pork Ribs haven't done too well for them, so stay away. In terms of drinks, we'd suggest you try the Tribetini- a concoction of vodka, elder berries and spices. Sounds intriguing, at the very least.

The ins and the outs

They've taken a rustic idea and dressed it up and boy, does it impress! The space is done up in classic whites and earthy colours. One massive wall is a facade of wooden logs, in their natural shades and in keeping with the theme, the cutlery also features polished wooden platters and bowls. The outdoor area is massive, and best avoided during mosquito season.

Tribe is a good place to hit up if you're in the area and looking for someplace to enjoy a long, boozy lunch {hello, weekend happy hours}. If nothing else, try their Sufi, Ghazal or Tribal nights; or the Sunday brunch.
