Gurgaon Utsav Will Be A Colourful Celebration Of Music & Theatre

What Is It?

Gurgaon Utsav returns to Aravali Biodiversity Park for a fifth time for music and theatre. The festival opens with the staging of ‘Khwab Sa’, a musical adaptation of the Shakespearean classic A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and we can’t think of a better setting than under a sky full of stars.

On the second day of the fest, the air will be rich with the tunes of Holi songs, performed in sufi tradition by Dhruv Sangari and his troupe, Rooh. On the last day, folk music maestro Malini Awasthi will introduce crowds to the Holi of Brijhbhumi.

Who Is It For?

Art enthusiasts who need a bit of a break from the shiny skyscrapers that paint Gurgaon’s skyline.

Why Should I Go For It?

This promises to be a different kind of Holi party, with many different shades of art, and we think it makes for quite a nice change actually. The stellar display of theatrical and musical talents is another big reason you should head for this fest – especially if you’re an admirer of the melancholic sufi style of music.

Lastly, it’s always nice to get away from day-to-day life and soak up some of India’s diverse culture.
