So when we heard of the healthy cupcakes at The Health Box, we couldn’t stop our excitement levels from going up. Made from almond flour, the sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free cupcakes are available in classic chocolate, vegan carrot and banana.
But is this where it stops? Nope. The Health Box has a pretty vast menu full of fresh food, prepared from scratch. No, you needn’t avert your eyes; we’re not talking ghaas phoos and diet food. From an entire section on detox specials {including Egg White Quiche and Mix Vegetable Bake} to protein meals {such as Thai Steamed Fish and Pan Seared Chicken}, the guys at Health Box have your nutrition needs all taken care of. They also have a neat little section on smoothies, for when you need that extra boost. Their summer menu includes fresh fruit concoctions; right now it is mango, and this will keep changing as per the season.
Every dish on the menu has been prepared carefully, using fresh produce from across the city. The burgers here are baked and whole wheat, with grilled patties served with a choice of home-made dips {green pesto, tomato salsa, sour cream, or mint chutney}. The wraps too are another great option for a quick snack. Although Health Box operates out of GK 2, they only do deliveries {currently only across South Delhi}, with no minimum order. If you’re slightly picky about your meals, you can always make a request and they’ll be happy to customise your food just the way you like it. Whether you want extra chicken or less tomatoes, order away.
