Take a Heritage Walk Through Lutyen’s Delhi

12th December is a historic day in the annals of history; it was when the shifting of the capital to Delhi was announced. Delhi By Foot is organising a heritage walk that commemorates The Great Delhi Durbar of December 1911, which was a grand arrangement to showcase the British Empire’s might.

The walk shall bring together a band of history lovers, photographers and writers on the 104th anniversary of the day when New Delhi came into being. Sumanto Bhowmick, author the book Princely Palaces of New Delhi will host all of you and will end the walk with a hearty breakfast.

Essentials: Do wear a good pair of walking shoes or flip-flops. Carry a bottle of water and suitable sun-shades depending on weather forecasts.
