Not exactly a short drive away, the hill fort of Jaisalmer is more of a weekend destination. Situated atop Trikuta Hill in the middle of the Thar Desert, the yellow-stone fort is the perfect vantage point for a panoramic view of the entire city of Jaisalmer. We suggest going up at night so that you can see the city twinkling with pretty lights.
