What’s The Scoop?

The H&M Conscious Exclusive 2016 Collection is H&M’s latest initiative to help put the spotlight on the importance of recycling— the chic way! Created in collaboration with the iconic Museé des Arts Décoratifs, Palais Du Louvre, the collection takes its inspiration from 18th century jacquards, 19th century French paintings, and 20th century art deco.

The collection is made entirely from sustainable materials.

Who Is It For?

The collection’s good for anyone who's environment conscious, but doesn’t like to compromise on their style. H&M successfully breaks the stereotype that eco-friendly clothing can’t look good. Be sure to save all your paycheques though; you might burn a hole in your eco-friendly pocket with this collection.

What Did You Love?

We found love in earrings made from recycled denim {aka denimite}, a dress that’ll double up as a piece of art, and sunglasses that can truly make an outfit. With plenty of flowy silhouettes, as well as clean cuts, the collection manages to please the urban woman’s closet for each time of the day {and night}!

Other Cool Deets

H&M will also be collaborating with singer M.I.A  for their global initiative, World Recycle Week! From Apr 18 - 24, they aim to collect 1,000 tonnes of unwanted or worn out garments from customers worldwide in its more than 3,600 stores.

Although carbon dating establishes her as a 21-year-old, Akanksha is secretly a 3-year-old monkey who figured out how to use Twitter. You can often spot her grooving to good music, appreciating street style and a slice {or 10} of pizza with the same level of enthusiasm. Loves petting dogs, being around the ocean, and beer-preferably together.
