Our go-to store for gifting items, Tatsat is bursting with an array of handicrafts and knick-knacks from different artisans across the country. Apart from a physical store in Hauz Khas, Tatsat also has an online presence.
Chunky accessories, dainty silver jewellery, organic soaps and cosmetics, quirky stationery (there’s a whole range of Haathi Chaap paper products), saris, stoles, clutches, oil diffusers and a wide variety of home décor items.
Tatsat prides itself on being a socially conscious store and while it does house some mainstream brands, the bulk of their stuff comes from fair trade organisations, women residing in slums, weavers and various NGOs from across India. By providing a retail opportunity to remote artisans and weavers, Tatsat is also doing its bit towards empowering the not so well-off.
