Ten Second Takeaway

Our go-to store for gifting items, Tatsat is bursting with an array of handicrafts and knick knacks from different artisans across the country.

What’s in {the} store?

Chunky accessories, dainty silver jewellery, organic soaps and cosmetics, quirky stationery {there’s a whole range of Haathi Chaap paper products made of elephant excreta}, saris, stoles, clutches, oil diffusers and a wide variety of home décor items.

Where’s the merch from?

Tatsat prides itself on being a socially conscious store and while it does house some mainstream brands, the bulk of their stuff comes from women residing in slums, underprivileged children, weavers and various NGOs from across India. By providing a retail opportunity to remote artisans and weavers, Tatsat is also doing its bit towards empowering the not so well-off.

Last minute gift shopping – there’s something for everyone; from preset gift hampers, and cutesy bird earrings for teens, to silk saris and incense sticks {they have a coffee dhoop batti which can make your room smell divine}, to home items such as lamps, trays, coasters, frames and platters. However, it’s equally useful for when you want to treat yourself to some retail therapy.

P.S. We hear the store’s undergoing renovation but you can still walk in for a peek {as long as you don’t mind the noise};  the all new, sleeker Tatsat is slated to be in business by 15th August.
