Live Music, A Dance Floor & Heady Cocktails: SDA’s New Baby Is Rocking And How

Bringing together what looks like an ancestral cottage in the hills and a menu that celebrates global cuisine, Hyper Local opened its doors to visitors just yesterday. From the looks of it, it’s safe to assume that this massive space spread across four floors is anything but ordinary.

Get Into The Groove

Dressed in all wood, it’s as fancy as they come. The open bar promises to be well-stocked at all times and the menu is hardly a surprise with it’s multi-cuisine spread. However, what’s fascinating is finding unusual suspects like Purani Dilli Ki Hunter Kachori and Mangalorean fish curry to experimental street food like Jalapeno Besan Chilla and Mutton Samosa. If you’re interested, you might find us with Chettinad Chicken Liver Fry Uttapam. Don’t you like the sound of that? We sure do.

Offbeat food aside, we’re told they’ll organise live gigs and stand up acts to promote local talent. Worried it might be too mellow or acoustic for your party gang? Don’t judge. They have a floor {or two} dedicated to commercial music. Get those heels ready!

You can kick back and watch the sun go down from the open terrace or sit cocooned in a cosy nook sipping Old Monk {we hear the dirty shakes are insane too!}. We’re going to do a bit of both – we’re hoping Hyper Local will give us reasons to keep going back.

So, We're Saying...

It’s fit for both chilled-out afternoons and party nights. So, if you’re around SDA, drop by for any kind of hangout scene and let their cocktails work their magic.
