What’s the best thing about a big fat Indian wedding? The food, of course. So if you’re not being basic with your outfit and your decor, why not shake things up with Mamapaati’s unique food menu on your big day?

Food That's Drool Worthy

The good people at Mamapaati have a quirky, food menu infused with a variety of cuisines and off-beat dishes. They have Indian, Pan-Asian and European menus for wedding functions, along with bespoke menus. If you want to stick to Indian, they serve a wicked beetroot and cheese tikki, pulled raan taco (the leg of mutton is marinated overnight and slow cooked) and something called samosa khao suey curry, a combination of baby samosas and traditional kadhi (now doesn’t that grab your attention). They serve kesari panacotta, butterscotch phirni and motichoor and marzipan rabdi, among others for desserts.

If you want to opt for for Asian or European food, they do traditional Peking duck dumplings, their live grill has bacon-wrapped prawns, java fish and pork spare ribs. The seafood bouillabaisse sounds divine, as do the quail eggs with caviar and lemon wedges on a platter. Their dessert section is delectable, with ferrero chocolate gateau, coconut jaggery ice cream and white chocolate and kahlua mousse. These are just a few of their dishes, and they’re certainly getting us excited.

So, We're Saying...
