Krbn, pronounced Carbon (don’t worry, I was confused for a second, too), was on my radar when I went looking for a gentle scrub online that still actually exfoliates skin and the fact that it’s sustainable, too, was a total win-win! Speaking of wins, their face polish even won a Harper’s Bazaar Conscious Beauty Award, so I went digging.
The products are super minimalist and sleek - clean lines, neat lettering, no unnecessary ingredients and gorgeous jars which can be easily repurposed. They have 3 different scrubs, a Cocoa Mud Body Polish with brown sugar and mint which is so refreshing and suits most skin types, Bliss Body Polish with rose clay that looks so pretty that I just want to keep it in my bathroom for aesthetics (and is gentle on sensitive skin), and the Rose Ash Face Polish with dried flowers that feels even fresher when you apply it mixed with rose water and gives you such a gorgeous glow.
They have 3 cold-pressed soaps, Tough Love with charcoal that has a surprisingly citrus-y smell, Blue Magic that’s actually green but is great for all skin types and Pink Moon which is awesome if you deal with breakouts as it helps with oil control and clearing up skin. Their product range is a bit limited but it’s been formulated in such a way that they don’t just work for specific skin types, rather most of them will suit almost all skin types since the ingredients are so gentle and natural.
