What Is It?

Bhajju Shyam, the person behind the famous The London Jungle Book and an award-winning Gond artist, is in Delhi to teach you the tribal art form.

Who Is It For?

Anybody above the age of 13 can join. The workshop aims to bring in a connect between contemporary inspiration, insights and imagination behind the various styles of Gond art.

Why Should I Go For It?

Bhajju Shyam is the author of the graphic travelogue, The London Jungle Book. Titled as both as a homage and a mirror-image counterpoint to Rudyard Kipling’s iconic The Jungle Book, it has received much acclaim around the world.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to study under him, as he shares his knowledge and experience. Those of you who loved The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, or its recent Hollywood adaptation—it's based on Gondi people—should definitely go for it.

Anything Else?

Bhajju’s story is truly inspiring—his first job at the age of 16 was as a night watchman in Bhopal. Art came naturally to him, as Gond tribals routinely decorate the walls of their homes. It was Bhajju’s vision and ambition that took him from decorating the walls of his village home to being a driving force behind the revival of Gond art in one of the biggest metropolises in the world, London.
