Ten Second Takeaway

With a Marvel and DC theme, IIT's Literati fest this year is going to be buzzing with ultra-cool superheroes and superheroines taking ultra-cool workshops and quizzes.

The next Stan Lee, are you?

If there’s a magnetic force that draws you to comic bookstores, and you find yourself drinking up page after page of Batman’s quests {or Superman. Even Aquaman, if that’s what floats your boat}, Literati is offering you the chance to try your hands at making your very own comic strip! Say whaaa? It's true. Big plus? Sumit Kumar, author of the webcomic Bakarmax, is going to share the basics of comic making that can help bring your imagination to paper.

Can’t draw to save your life?

If the idea of drawing anything fancier than a squiggle makes you scoff, Literati has many fun things you can take part in; the Marvel-DC quiz, for instance. Not a comic person? Fret not, for there's a lot more packed in this three-day event. With events like Slam Poetry {which is in collaboration with LBBD, btw}, Lit Quiz, sessions by Manu Joseph and Anand Neelkanthan, and a performance by Rabbi Shergill, Literati 2015 is one event you should definitely make time for. You can check out the full schedule here.

When: 11th-13th Sep
