The crew at LBBD is making sure the summer heat doesn’t get in the way of Delhiwaalas stepping out and having a good time. What do we have lined up for you? Well, lets just say there will be a significant amount of baking… and we don’t mean you in the sun!
Say hello to the Dessert Bazaar! 15 of Delhi’s ingenious bakers, ice-cream makers and chocolatiers, and tea and coffee connoisseurs, some of whom you probably haven’t had the privilege of discovering just yet, are getting together under one {air conditioned} roof. And they’re taking it up a notch, by making uber unique desserts for the event. There's mars bars cheesecake to mojito cupcakes, macarons, strawberry and mint ice cream, mini baklava cheesecake, chocolate pralines, bundt cake, custard tarts, home made ice cream, popsicles, cake jars, ice cream cake, vegan chocolate cake, gluten free cakes… and more! Come break sugar coated breads, croissants, donuts and brioches with other Delhiwaalas; or design your own dessert at our DIY counter.
Counting calories? A few of us staffers are currently watching our sugar intake as well, so you could also hang with us over the more 'figure friendly' options.
Our chosen bakers will be retailing their masterpieces at the bazaar, and are open to customized orders for your upcoming birthday or bachelorette. There’s music, a photo booth, and some crazy fun activities, involving both batter and banter.
Who says it’s too hot to get out there and enjoy what Delhi has on offer? Every cloud has a silver lining, or in this case – multi coloured frosting.
