When you’ve had a long day, or when you need a go-to spot to chill with your friends, Delhi has no dearth of sublime lounges to sort you out. If you’re wondering where the closest one is, you don’t need to look too far. We’ve made you a list of the best lounges in every corner of Delhi.

North Delhi

Themis Barbeque House

With rustic wooden furniture, a rooftop space and fairy lights everywhere, this place serves you pocket-friendly drinks {that’s INR 95 for a pint of beer!}, mouth-watering food and is large enough to accommodate you and your gang for a peppy evening out.

What to order: tikkas, virgin mojito, mud cake

736 AD

This place is awesome for its cheap alcohol, outdoor seating and gorgeous vintage decor that’ll transport you to a historical space {we’re talking stone walls and some seats that look like old-school rickshaws}. With lively music that adds to the ambience, this one is worth a visit.

What to order: Chinjabi food, sizzlers, peri peri pizza, LIIT

East Delhi

Chill on Ice

With golden lighting and big, comfy chairs, this place seems like the perfect haunt for a college-going crowd. With a nice-ish bar, we’d recommend this more for a round of starters and chilled mocktails.

What to order: Veg or non veg platters

West Delhi

Raftaar - The High Speed Lounge & Bar

A beautifully done-up lounge that follows an automobile theme, this place has a huge dance floor and is a great place for an evening shindig. At times, the service may be a little slow but the food is lip-smacking. So, it’s worth the wait.

What to order: Highway Tandoori Kukkad, Pan Mojito

South Delhi

Raasta

With a lovely ambience, pleasant music and a terrace section that is immensely popular, this is the place to visit with your friends and family if you’re craving mind-blowing food and drinks. Also, Tuesday nights are karaoke nights here.

What to order: Cosmopolitan, smoked chicken pizza, mezze platter

Studio XO bar

You’ll find this charming place right above Westside in South Ex 2. The place is massive and has the comfiest seats for you to sink into and relax post work. The food and the service are both top-notch.

What to order: Mac n’ cheese balls, lamb galouti kebabs

The Flying Saucer

We were immediately mesmerised by their outdoor section and the vintage-y elements in their decor.  They also have a live band and an extensive bar menu that will help you unwind you in no time. Hop in on a Saturday if you’re in the mood to party – they’ll have a dance floor ready for you.

What to order: Chicken shawarama, LIIT

Central Delhi

Lord Of The Drinks

Spread across two floors and with a sprawling terrace that overlooks the bustling Delhi streets, this is the place to head to when you want to experiment with cocktails and munch on delish bar snacks. They also have four other outlets, and each one of them is winning in giving you the best quality of service.

What to order: Tandoori aloo, keema pav, My Passion

Bunta Bar Live

Named after the lemon-y Buntas we all love, they have bottles of them lit by LED lights, a DJ console in the shape of a truck and is a great place for letting loose with a beer and that too, without much damage to the pocket.

What to Order: Kala Khatta Bunta and their pijjas {desi pizzas}

Kill The Bill

This place is really comfy {you’ll just want to sink into the plush, brown sofas as soon as you enter} and stands out for its interiors {there are some cylindrical seating booths too!}. We hear the flavours in their dishes are spot-on and is a budget-friendly place to enjoy your drinks {a pint of beer is for INR 69}. BRB, We’re already on our way.

What to order: Chocolate cocktail, chicken tikka pizza

Era - Bar and Lounge

This one is a dedicated space to three different time periods: The Renaissance, Pre-Industrialisation and Victorian. And, there is a separate seating section representing each. Sounds cool, right? Based on the themes, you’ll find books, a dance floor, a bar and more – all in one place. It’s definitely a place you won’t leave for hours.

What to order: Dishes from the chef’s signature menu, margherita pizza, sangria

Keeping the ‘Social’ vibe going, this one is inspired by the Mumbai chawls, and has a hallway with work space rooms, designed like a bedroom, a bathroom or a dining hall, on either side. This is the ideal place to go to if you’re in the mood for a non-fussy night of drinking and chilling.
