Chef Guntas Sethi – renowned patisserie chef, recipe developer, and food content creator – recently visited SOCIAL, our favourite neighbourhood café and fell in love with ‘The New Irresistible Menu’. The menu has been made with MAGGI®’s plant-based range that is developed especially for chefs and features a burger patty and mince.
We asked Chef Guntas about her favourites from the menu. She swore by the Sensational Seekh #notGuilty, which is a seekh kebab made with the plant-based mince, served with mint chutney and laccha onions. She loved how juicy the kebab was. She also enjoyed the Chilli #NotChicken, which as the name suggests is like a Chilli Chicken without the guilt. According to the chef, it tasted a lot like the real thing. She also believes that this new range not only caters to the evolving preferences of consumers and people with mindful consumption habits but is also a source of protein and fibre. Moreover, the patty & mince by itself are naturally cholesterol-free and pair well with a wide bunch of flavours.
